UPCPMT 2017: Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility,
NEET 2017 UP Counselling has been started now. UPCPMT (Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test) is a state level entrance test of Uttar Pradesh that was organized by the Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University (DDU), Kanpur. UP CPMT was conducted for admission in medical, dental, homeopathy, ayurveda & unani courses. These courses are provided by the government & private colleges/Institution of the Uttar Pradesh. From the year 2017, it has been replaced by the NEET exam. The counselling for medical state quota seats will be organized on the basis of NEET merit list. In this article, we are providing the complete information about UPCPMT 2017 including application form, eligibility, counselling dates, procedure, etc.
Application Form
Candidates can get the NEET UP Counselling Application Form 2017 from the official portal. Candidate can apply for the NEET UP counselling only through online process. The application form is available from the 5th July 2017. The last date to fill the application form will be the 8th July 2017. After the form submission, candidate keeps the print copy of the filled application form for further reference.
Application Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs. 1400 (For GEN/OBC candidates) & Rs. 750 (For SC/ST candidates) as an application fee. Candidates can submit the fee through online (credit card, debit card, net banking, e-Challan).
UPCPMT Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate should have complete minimum 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
- Candidates should have permanent residence of Uttar Pradesh.
- Those candidates completed their 10th & 12th from the UP, they can also apply.
- Candidates have to qualify their 12th examination or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Those candidates apply for this exam, they can secure 50% marks (For General/OBC category candidates & 40% (For SC/ST category candidates) in PCB.
- Appearing candidates can also apply.
UPCPMT 2017 Exam Pattern
The entrance exam of UPCPMT has been replaced by NEET 2017.
- There are 200 questions will be asked in the question paper.
- The questions will be multiple choice types.
- The medium of the exam will be English & Hindi.
- For each correct answer four marks will be given to the candidates.
- There is no provision of the negative marking.
- The time duration of the entrance exam will be 3 hours.
- The question will be asked on the basis of class 12th.
UPCPMT 2017 Admit Card
UPCPMT Admit Card 2017 will be provided on the May 2017 (tentative). Candidates can download the admit card from the official website. Candidates can get their admit card by entering their application number & date of birth. The admit card will consist the information of Candidate Name, Candidate Roll Number, Exam Centre, Exam Time, etc.
UPCPMT 2017 Answer Key
After a few days of the entrance exam, candidates can check the UPCPMT Answer Key 2017. The conducting authority released the answer key on the official site. Candidates calculate the esteemed marks with the help of the answer key. Answer key help the candidates to predict the rough idea about then marks that they get in the entrance exam.
UPCPMT 2017 Result
Candidates can check their results on the official portal of the University. UPCPMT Result 2017 will be declared on the May 2017 (tentative). Candidates can get their result by entering their roll number & Date of Birth. After the result announcement, if any scrutiny will occur, it also announce in the official site. On the basis of the merit list candidates will be called for the counselling procedure.
UPCPMT 2018
UPCPMT 2018 (Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test) will be organized to offer admission into medical courses such as BHMS, BAMS & BUMS. It is a state level medical entrance exam conducted by the Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya University, Awadh. The admission to the MBBS programme will be based on NEET score. The application form will be filled from the 2nd week of March 2018.
UPCPMT 2017 Counselling
After the announcement of the result and merit list, the counselling process will begin. UPCPMT Counselling 2017 (Document Verification) will be started from the 9th July 2017. The counselling procedure is published in the official portal. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates. The counselling will be conducted in three rounds. On the basis of the merit list & availability of the seats, the seat will be allotted to the candidates.
