WBJEE 2018 Important Dates and Application Process

WBJEE 2018 application submission is to tantatively begin from the first week of January, 2018. As declared by WBJEEB on the official website, the WBJEE 2018 exam will be conducted on April 22, 2018. In 2017, WBJEE was conducted on April 23, 2017 and the counselling process commenced from the month of June, 2017.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam abbreviated as WBJEE is conducted by Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). It is a common entrance test which is a gateway for admissions to the professional undergraduate and post graduate level courses offered in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental and Architecture in Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self Financing Engineering & Technological Institutes in the State of West Bengal. Through WBJEE, the candidates can seek admissions to various undergraduate and post graduate courses offered at the private/government college in the state of West Bengal.

WBJEE 2018 Application Process

Candidates seeking admissions to the 4 year BE/BTech programmes offered at the government and private college in the state of West Bengal through WBJEE need to follow the instructions given below. Step 1: WBJEE 2018 Application Form  

The application form for WBJEE 2018 is categorized into two sections which are:

• Personal details
• Fee payment details

The candidates have to fill the WBJEE 2018 application form online by registering on the official website. After the candidates have successfully filled and submitted their personal details, a unique 7-digit numeric application number for the candidate will be automatically generated. This will help the candidate to submit the form and successfully logout from the website.

The candidates are advised to carefully preserve the application number for future references.

Step 2: Payment of WBJEE 2018 Application Fee

Depending on the type of application submitted, the candidates will have to make the payment of the prescribed application fee. Take a look below at the WBJEE 2018 Application Fee.

Once the application fee is successfully paid by the candidate a Confirmation Report is issued by the system which ensures that the candidate has successfully made the payment of the prescribed application fee and have registered themselves to appear for the WBJEE 2018 Exam.

Step 3: Uploading the Photograph and Signature 

After successful application submission and payment of fee, the candidates will be asked to download filled in form and take a print out of it and paste their 2 recent colored Passport sized Photographs and self-attest one of the photograph.

After which the candidate will have to put the Left Thumb Impression and Signature in the respective boxes. Subsequently, the fields mentioning the signature of the Father / Mother / Guardian will be filled along with the thumb impression. In case both parents are absent /unavailable, the box will have to be filled up by the candidate’s Guardian, as the case may be.

After the candidate successfully completes their application form for WBJEE 2018, they will have to send their application form along with the necessary documents single envelop through speed post.  

The candidates are requested to take a print out of this confirmation page and preserve it for further references. This is advised because the confirmation page cannot be regenerated at any later stage.

Step 4: WBJEE 2018 Admit Card

The WBJEE 2018 Admit Cards will automatically generated by the board once the confirmation of your registrations is revived. The WBJEE admit card contains the candidate’s examination centre and examination roll number which is unique for all candidates. 

The candidates can download their respective admit cards from the official website.

Candidates are advised to preserve their admit cards carefully until the final admission process has been successfully conducted.

Step 5: Appear for WBJEE 2018 Exam

The candidates seeking admissions to the engineering, architecture/pharmacy courses offered by college in the state of West Bengal will have to appear for the WBJEE 2018 as per the date mentioned on the admit cards. The candidates are advised to reach the exam center on time along with the required documents and other needful.

Step 6: WBJEE 2018 Exam Results
