WB Civil Services Prelims Result 2017
West Bengal Public Service Commission has declared the WB Civil Services Prelims Result 2017 online at the official website. Out of candidates appeared in WBCS Prelims Exam 2017, 7922 candidates are declared qualified to appear for Mains Exam, which will be conducted in the due course of time. The aspirants will be able to check their result online at the official website by following certain steps.
The commission has conducted the preliminary written test on January 29 earlier this year for the recruitment to West Bengal Civil Services (Exe.) ETC. The candidates will be shortlisted after the mains exam will be able to get the dignified position in Rank A Officers in the SWest Bengal Government. The test will also facilitate recruitment to other services and posts. The examination was held at 19 places and lakhs of candidates appeared for the same.

The WBCS preliminary exam carried a total of 200 marks and 200 questions were asked in the paper. Test duration was 150 minutes and was based on graduation level education. The Commission holds the authority to set the minimum qualifying marks which are necessary to attain in the exam to proceed to next phase of selection process.
