NEET 2017 Merit List – The merit list of NEET 2017 to be published by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with the result announced on June 23. NEET merit list displays merit rank with names of candidates who qualified in NEET. On the basis of cutoff score, conducting authority has released merit list for 15% All India Quota candidates. The candidates under 15% All India Quota can download NEET UG rank letter from the link given in the article. Candidates must enter their NEET registration number, roll number and date of birth to download NEET 2017 rank letter. The NEET merit list 2017 will be equal to the number of seats available for MBBS & BDS courses. It must be noted that for remaining 85% seats, the respective state conducting authority has started preparing their merit list based on NEET scores. Therefore, the NEET 2017 merit list has been provided to all the states. Based on norms and regulations decided by designated state counselling conducting authority admission will be granted to candidates. A waiting list is also to be provided which will be equal to 04 times of NEET merit list. The counselling for NEET 2017 for 15% All India Quota seats has started from July 03, whereas, regsitration for NEET counselling for deemed & central university has begun from July 5. NEET 2017 State Merit list
Each state has started releasing their own merit list. Based on the state merit list, admission to MBBS and BDS courses will be offered into the private and medical colleges of the state. Below are the important points of state merit list.
- Firstly, CBSE has released merit list for all the qualified candidates
- Central Board of Secondary (CBSE) has handed over the NEET merit list to the respective states including their domicile
- Each state has different reservation policies, set of eligibility criteria and admission procedure
- After implying respective state’s rules and norms, the merit list will be released
NEET Result 2017
